Exploding Horse Magic Trap

This trap involves a magical horse that will move, sound, and act like a real horse.

This trap is activated when a creature attempts to mount the magical horse. A successful Nature check DC 15 will reveal that something feels wrong about the horse. A spell or other effect that can sense the presence of magic will reveal that the horse is a conjured creature but not the nature of the trap. A successful dispel magic (DC 15) cast on the horse destroys the trap and causes it to explode.

Once activated, the horse explodes. All creatures in a 10 foot radius are covered in glue and glitter. Each creature must make a Dexterity saving throw DC 15 or they are restrained by the glue. Escaping the glue requires a successful Strength check DC 14 or dousing the victim in water. All creatures in the blast radius are covered in glitter. The glitter causes the victim to suffer disadvantage on Hide and Stealth checks and they can’t benefit from invisibility. Removing the glitter requires the victim to bathe themselves and their clothes with soap and water for thirty minutes

The Changeme Wand

Wand (arcane focus), uncommon

This wand looks like a wand of polymorph. The identify spell will consider it a wand of polymorph. The wand has 20 charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 of its charges to cast the polymorph spell (no save) on it. However, the polymorph only affects the wielder who will be transformed into a small or tiny animal for 10 minutes. They cannot control what animal they turn into. Use the Random Animal Chart below to determine their form. Once the wand’s last charge is expended, it crumbles into dust.

Owlwine (Ingested): A creature that drinks this potion can only screech and growl like an owlbear for 10 minutes. They cannot cast any spells with somatic components. The creature does not understand owlbear but can speak it. One bottle of Owlwine has three doses in it.

Pie Arrow

Weapon, uncommon

A pie arrow transforms into a custard pie mid-flight. A creature hit by a pie arrow must make a Constitution save DC 12 or become blinded until the end of their next turn. Pie arrows do not cause any damage.
