The Time Blade

Weapon (any sword) very rare cursed item

Description: The Time Blade is a sword enchanted with a curse that makes it appear like a sword of speed. However, it comes with a temporal curse. The weapon can be of any design and quality.

Benefits: You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. While wielding this weapon you gain advantage on Initiative rolls and your speed is increased by 5.

Temporal Curse: If you make a critical failure on an attack with this weapon, you are immediately affected with a time stop that lasts 1d4+1 rounds. There is no save nor are there any abilities or spells that can negate this effect. During the time stop, you cannot make any actions and suffer the paralyzed condition. Damage does not negate the effect. If reduced to 0 hitpoints or below, you can’t make any death saving throws until the temporal effect ends.

Destroying the Time Blade: A Time Blade can be destroyed by taking it to the astral plane. It cannot exist there and will dissolve into smoke.
